CITYGRAPH

Grant number checker

Before you send the grant

Check the local numbers in your needs statement.

Paste a paragraph, choose the county or city it describes, and compare its numbers with official Census estimates. CITYGRAPH tells you what matches, what needs changing, and what it could not check.

Live checking covers every Census-listed county, city, and place in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

What this check does not decide

A grant may require a different year, source, population, or service-area definition. CITYGRAPH cannot read those rules for you yet.

American Community Survey values are estimates. A matching number can still need caution when its margin of error is large.

“Not checked” does not mean false. This release covers counties and Census places, not every municipal boundary or custom service area.
